Recessed spring and screw elements are often out of reach for a fully insulated shaft. On the 98 20 40 SL the shaft is extra slim in the front area, the tip measures 4.0 x 0.8 mm on a 100 mm blade.

Standards and compliance

The insulation complies with DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 and is VDE tested, so the tool is approved for live working up to 1000 V. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply.
