Hexagon socket 14 mm with 3/8 inch internal square, insulated to IEC 60900 - Knipex 98 37 14

From 14 mm upwards the tightening torques rise noticeably, and the socket has to transmit that force without deforming the screw head. The 98 37 14 socket grips the 14 mm width across flats on all six faces and still stays slim, with a working end diameter of 23.7 mm.

The manufacturer states DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900. Both standards cover insulated hand tools for live working up to 1000 V AC, so the tool belongs to the VDE range. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern under REACH, and the RoHS directive does not apply.
