Hexagon socket for hex head screws AF 12 mm, 1/2 inch square drive, VDE insulated, 55 mm - Knipex 98 47 12

In switchgear and on terminal strips, hexagonal screws often have to be undone close to live parts. The 98 47 12 socket takes 12 mm across flats, fits a 1/2 inch square drive and is insulated over its full working length to IEC 60900.

Standards and conformity

The socket is tested to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for hand held insulated tools for live working. According to the manufacturer it contains no substances of very high concern in the sense of REACH. The RoHS directive is not applicable to this product.
