Plastic flat nose pliers fully insulating for meter assembly and meter blocking, 180 mm - Knipex 98 62 01

At open meter installations a tool must never form a conductive bridge. The 98 62 01 gripping pliers are therefore made entirely of plastic, lower the risk of a short circuit through their full insulation and are designed for meter assembly and meter blocking, at 180 mm length and only 120 g.

Meter assembly and meter blocking for network operators and electrical contractors, work in the meter panel and at house connection boxes. Suited wherever parts have to be gripped and held in a live environment and a metal tool is out of the question.

Standards and conformity

The pliers are built to DIN EN 60900 and IEC 60900 for insulated hand tools used for live working. According to the manufacturer they contain substances of very high concern under REACH. The RoHS directive does not apply to this product.
