Suitable for light gases and vapors and positions above open containers. With the hood in an angular position, the extraction efficiency is increased. The antistatic hoods are required in combination with an antistatic extraction arm to ensure conductivity. This is especially important when the Alsident® System 75 AS extraction arm is used in ESD areas or in EX areas (ATEX).
Antistatic hoods are made of chromated (TCP) aluminum or conductive polypropylene (PP). The black hoods made of PP are supplied with a loose pipe socket made of conductive PP. The spigot is packed separately.
