Round hood antistatic DN75 Ø 385 mm conductive PP black - Alsident 1-7535-6

An insulating hood breaks the dissipative chain of an antistatic extraction arm and cancels out its protective effect. Round hood 1-7535-6 is therefore made of conductive polypropylene, measures Ø 385 mm and fits extraction arms with a DN75 tube diameter.

Applications

The antistatic hood is used in EPA zones of electronics production, at soldering benches handling ESD sensitive assemblies and in EX areas according to ATEX. Typical positions are above small open containers, above flux and cleaning vessels and over dispensing or potting stations.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Intended for antistatic Alsident extraction arms with a DN75 tube diameter, in particular System 75 AS. Only in that combination does conductivity remain guaranteed along the entire path. Delivery covers the hood with flange plus the loose conductive PP spigot packed separately. Extraction arm, bracket and protective grille are not included. Operation in EPA zones according to IEC 61340-5-1 requires this fully conductive version.
