The HDT-SF stand holds the the HT470 thermal tweezers and keeps it ready between soldering operations. The stand works exclusively with the HT470 Heavy Duty Thermal Tweezers and needs two HDU control units. Sleep and hibernation mode detects the tool in the stand, lowers the tip temperature below the solder melting point and cuts the power supply in hibernation. This prevents oxidation and makes tip life last up to five times longer.
