8x interchangeable objective for Mantis PIXO and ERGO, 68 mm working distance - Vision MTO008

On a Mantis the objective decides how fine the inspection can get and how much room stays between optics and workpiece. This interchangeable objective fills the 8x step in the objective changer of the head. 8x resolves fine solder joints and pin pitches without shortening the working distance compared with the 6x objective.

The objective is tailored to the Mantis system and uses specially coated quality glass, which gives a high resolution and high contrast image. It is inserted and removed by simply turning and locking it.

What this objective changes at the head

• Magnification 8x at 68 mm working distance, which fixes the trade off between detail and clearance below the optics.
• Tool free change through the objective changer of the Mantis head, with up to three objectives fitted at the same time.
• Specially coated quality glass tailored to the Mantis system, for a high resolution and high contrast image.
• Matched to the Mantis PIXO and Mantis ERGO heads, so the stereo image stays low in distortion across the range.
• With the MTA310 protective glasses the front lens can be covered against solder splash and flux, which protects the expensive optics.

Compatibility

The objective fits the objective changer of the Mantis PIXO and ERGO heads, among them the MPH003 and MRH002 versions. It goes together with the MTA310 protective glasses, the MTA350 epi illumination and the VERSO universal stand MTB200 with the MTB201 extension, the MTB211 base plate and the MTB220 gliding stage. Mantis IOTA heads take the MTO103 to MTO108 objectives instead.
