At workbenches laid out for standing work the seat range of many swivel chairs simply ends too low. The ESD TEXON 3 from Bimos covers 570 to 810 mm of seat height and comes with a height-adjustable foot ring that supports the legs in the upper half of that range. Auto-Motion technology keeps the 570 mm backrest in contact at every angle and locks in three settings.

• Auto-Motion technology follows the upper body as the operator leans forward or back and keeps the backrest in contact. A fixed position is available in one of three lockable settings.
• Seat height runs from 570 to 810 mm, which reaches workbenches at standing height. The foot ring is height-adjustable and takes the weight of the legs.
• The flex-back at the lower end of the 570 mm backrest opens up extra movement to the rear without giving up lumbar support.
• Seat and backrest cushions are part of the interchangeable upholstery system and swap out with one click, no tools required. A damaged cushion no longer means a new chair.
• The extra thick seat cushion in Skintec grey carries through long shifts. The anthracite aluminium base rests on five glides and stays put.
• Dissipation is designed across all components and includes upholstery, gas spring and base. The chair therefore stops being a blind spot in an EPA concept to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
• A joint-free design and closed surfaces keep dust and solder residue out of stitching. The Skintec upholstery is simply wiped down.

Accessories and compatibility

The 4D ESD armrests Bimos 9179E adjust in height, width and depth and fit the TEXON range. If the chair should roll instead of glide, the ESD start-stop castor set Bimos 32379 provides five castors. Bimos also offers pre-assembly with a protective cover under 904.

One TEXON 3 task swivel chair in the upholstery version described per sales unit, with aluminium base, glides and height-adjustable foot ring. Armrests are not included.

Standards and compliance

The chair is built in an ESD-compatible version and is intended for use inside an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1. Dissipation is solved across all components, not through the cover alone. The manufacturer under GPSR is Bimos GmbH & Co. KG in DE-72469 Meßstetten-Tieringen.
