Non-sparking hex key, aluminium bronze, offset, 7 mm across flats - Bahco NS320-7

In hazardous areas a slipping steel key can produce ignitable sparks. The Bahco NS320-7 is made of aluminium bronze and is non-sparking. With 7 mm across flats, 88 mm length and a 43 mm short arm it also reaches tight fastenings.

Aluminium bronze is softer than tool steel. For high tightening torques and continuous loads, a non-sparking key is therefore less suited than a steel key outside the hazardous area.
