An open container collects dust, and a lid made of standard plastic can build up static charge. The RAKO ESD lay-on lid from Utz closes containers with a 400 x 300 mm footprint and drains charges in a controlled way at 1 x 10⁴ Ω to below 1 x 10¹¹ Ω.
