For wheel bolts, chassis and machine fastenings with 1/2" drive, the ratchet often lacks a little clearance from the component. The Wera 8796 SC Zyklop extension adds 125 mm of length and holds the socket securely with the flexible-lock system, so the heavy socket does not drop off.
