Dual footplate 390 x 390 mm with stainless steel electrodes for Wristlab - Iteco 9264965

A footwear test only carries information if both shoes are measured individually. This dual footplate therefore carries two mutually insulated stainless steel electrodes of 147 x 377 mm each on a base plate of 390 x 390 mm, so a faulty resistance in one shoe is not masked by the other one.

Features

• Two separate electrodes of 147 x 377 mm each deliver individual readings for the left and the right shoe.
• The 390 x 390 mm footprint gives full electrode contact even for large shoe sizes.
• Stainless steel electrodes stay contact reliable after frequent use and are easy to clean.
• The insulated carrier plate separates the electrodes from the shop floor and prevents shunt paths during the measurement.
• Together with the Hands Free mode the station switches the relay for the EPA door once the footwear test has passed.

Applications

Daily grounding check of personnel at the EPA entrance, adding footwear measurement to an existing wall station, replacing a worn footplate in electronics manufacturing, cleanrooms or test areas.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as the floor plate with both electrodes. It works with the testers Wristlab II (Iteco 9264960) and WristLab Pro (Iteco 9264990 and 9264970) as well as with the EVO station range. For free standing installation the stand Iteco 9264953 is available. For turnstile access gates Iteco supplies a dedicated footplate under 9266102.

Standards and origin

Separate measurement of the left and right shoe follows the requirements of IEC 61340-5-1 for personnel grounding in EPA areas. Made in Italy.
