Prevents thermal shock on multilayer printed circuit boards during rework: the JBC PHSE-2B preheater warms PCBAs evenly up to 250 °C before soldering or hot-air work is carried out on the component. With 600 W peak power and a 130 x 135 mm heating area, it suits small and medium populated boards in electronics manufacturing.

Applications

Preheating small and medium PCBAs during repair and rework, protecting multilayer boards from delamination, supporting the soldering and desoldering of SMD and THT components.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Scope of delivery: 1x heating unit, 1x console, 2x PH218 type K thermocouples, 1x PH217 Kapton tape. The PHSS support with three spacing positions (28, 50 or 70 mm) is supplied without a board holder. A P-005 foot pedal can be connected to control the heater.
