Where excessive tightening torque damages components, the tool itself has to set the limit. The Safe-Torque A 1 slips over once the set value between 2 and 12 Nm is reached, so overtightening is ruled out. With the Torque Lock function it also serves as a standard ratchet with high loosening moments.
