Description
This shielding bag with an embedded metal layer protects sensitive electronics against electrostatic discharge during storage and shipping. At 255 x 355 mm (width x height) it is sized for large PCBs and assemblies with mounted parts. After filling, the opening is heat-sealed, and the transparent film keeps the contents visible.

- Buried metal layer: in the PET/ALU/PE laminate the aluminium sits between the films, not on the surface.
- Dissipative inside and out: surface resistance from 10E4 ohm to below 10E9 ohm on both sides.
- Heat-sealable: closed with a bag sealer, the bag stays shut until it is opened at the destination.
- Check without opening: part and label can be read through the transparent film, and the printed ESD warning symbol marks the contents.
Applications
At 355 mm high there is still enough film left above assemblies with heat sinks, connectors or cable harnesses to make a clean seal. The bag keeps parts protected outside the EPA as well, for example when shipping to customers or between sites. The range is available in further sizes.
