Conductive packaging bag, heat-sealable, 200 x 305 mm

Electrostatic sensitive devices need packaging that dissipates charge on its way through storage and shipping instead of building it up. This black bag in 200 x 305 mm is made of PE with carbon additive and reaches a surface resistance of 10E2 to 10E5 Ohm. That puts it in the conductive range, so charges drain quickly via a grounded surface.

Applications

At 200 x 305 mm the bag is narrow and long. It takes elongated PCBs, plug-in cards and rack modules that would slide around in a wider bag. It is used in storage, field service and shipping out of the EPA.
