Unlike dissipative or shielding alternatives, these bags actively drain electrostatic charge to ground at rates that protect the most sensitive components rated below 100 V HBM. Typical multi-layer constructions combine a carbon-loaded polyethylene inner layer with an aluminium barrier, delivering both Faraday-cage shielding and rapid charge dissipation in a single film.
