Description
This 355 x 406 mm bag combines two protective functions. The metallised middle layer shields against electrostatic discharge with a shielding energy below 10 nJ, while the PET/MET/PE laminate forms a barrier against water vapour. This lets you pack wider PCBs and assemblies with heat sinks or connectors dry and ESD-safe.

Applications
The 355 mm width at 406 mm height leaves room at the sides. This helps with PCBs whose connectors protrude at the side, with assemblies carrying heat sinks and with boards that are additionally wrapped in foam or bubble wrap. It is used for shipping, storing and transporting moisture-sensitive electronics, usually together with desiccant and a humidity indicator card.
