Moisture Barrier Bags (MBB) combine ESD shielding with a defined moisture barrier and are the packaging of choice for MSL-rated components per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033. The range consists of SCS shielding and moisture protection bags in a wide size selection. The laminate film shields electrostatic fields (per ANSI/ESD S11.4) and simultaneously presents a very low Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR), preventing moisture ingress over the storage period.

Typical applications: Sealing and storing MSL 2-6 components (SMD ICs, BGA, QFN) per IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033; shipping moisture-sensitive semiconductors to contract assemblers and manufacturing partners; opening and resealing after partial withdrawal (reseal documentation); and long-term storage of component inventory in uncontrolled climate conditions.
