Anyone fitting out a chassis, a trolley or a shelf unit for the ESD protected area needs casters that do not electrically isolate the structure and that carry the weight of the populated assemblies. This swivel caster with a trailing total lock has a wheel diameter of 125 mm, an overall height of 155 mm and a load capacity of 300 kg. The wheel centre is electrically conductive polyamide, the tread is injection-moulded polyurethane. It is mounted through a bolt-on top plate with the mounting dimension 105 x 80 mm / 80/77 x 60 mm.

Application

Typical use is on transport and tier trolleys, material carts, chassis and mobile shelving inside an EPA, wherever populated assemblies are moved and the whole structure has to stay electrostatically controlled. The total lock is needed at loading, test and handover positions where the trolley must not roll away during work. The range is supplied in wheel diameters of 100 mm, 125 mm and 160 mm, so the casters of one chassis can be matched to each other.
