ESD Foam Sheet XLPE ELXAC50 Conductive, 353 x 253 x 6 mm, Black

Holding components in place inside a transport container without letting the packaging build up a charge is what this insert is for. The XLPE foam ELXAC50 sheet measures 353 x 253 mm at 6 mm thickness and is set to a conductive range of 10E3 to 10E6 ohm, so charges drain away in a controlled manner instead of collecting in the material. The firm grade keeps its shape while doing so.

Application

Inside the ESD protected area the sheet serves as an insert in cartons, stacking containers and workpiece carriers. Typical contents are populated boards, connectors and small parts that must neither shift between two operations nor touch a charged surface. The foam can be trimmed with a knife to the inner dimensions of the container.

The series covers further thicknesses (10 mm and 15 mm). This article is the 6 mm version.
