Application

The band secures lids on ESD containers, lashes stacked containers on a pallet and holds cartons of populated assemblies together for dispatch. That step usually sits at goods issue, outside the EPA, where handling is no longer covered by grounding and flooring. This is exactly where a dissipative band pays off, because the last material applied to the package does not break the protection chain. It is processed with the strapping tools common in logistics for a 12 mm band width.
