Corner cabinets and shelves
Corner cabinets and corner shelf units from the Karl wood programme join two rows of cabinets around a corner and turn the room corner into storage space. The 505 series corner elements are 817 mm wide for 450 mm deep cabinet rows and 1017 mm wide for 650 mm deep rows, each in heights of 772, 1352 and 2064 mm, either as a corner cabinet with lockable hinged door or as an open corner shelf unit. Corner top cabinets and corner top shelf units of the 605 series, 712 or 1292 mm high, extend lower corner elements to the height of 2064 mm cabinet walls.
The carcass is made of 19 mm light grey melamine-faced particleboard, dowelled and glued, with 2 mm ABS edge banding and a grooved-in visible back panel (13 mm). Shelves (28 mm) can be repositioned in the 32 mm hole grid, and the base units stand on a plinth with concealed metal levellers. The part number suffix indicates the version: .80 standard, .81 ESD to IEC 61340-5-1.
