The C 1605 XP is the open sandal version of the metal-free C-TEC design: a mesh upper for air circulation, a plastic toe cap and an aramid penetration barrier for protection, and an MPU sole for dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
What the model delivers
- Open sandal form with full S1P protection. The heel area stays closed as the standard requires for S1, while the rest of the upper lets air reach the foot.
- Fully metal-free construction. Plastic toe cap from the C-TEC technology and an XP aramid penetration barrier. No metal detector alarms, no cold bridge into the shoe.
- Safety class S1P translated. A toe cap rated for 200 joules of impact energy, closed heel area, antistatic behaviour, energy absorption in the heel, plus penetration resistance against nails and swarf.
- Dissipative to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The shoe ties the wearer into the personnel grounding system of the EPA, so walking to the machine costs no component to a discharge.
- Mesh upper with an open air texture and aktiv-X functional lining. The fabric wraps the foot closely, the lining regulates moisture and dries quickly.
- MPU INNOFLEX system with CLOUDZONE, slip resistance SRC. The heel cushions the strike and the tread areas return energy. Approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191.
