A safety sandal lives on the air that passes through the upper, and that is exactly what the high tech mesh of the GX 265 delivers. In electronics manufacturing a second figure counts as well: person, shoe and floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The wearer's charge drains in a controlled way instead of discharging into the next component. Both sit in a shoe built on a dedicated women's last rather than a downscaled men's one.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S1P to EN ISO 20345: closed heel section, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area, toe cap tested to 200 joules of impact energy, plus the penetration barrier against nails and swarf.
• ESD dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a resistance below 100 MOhm. The antistatic band of the shoe standard runs from 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) to 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm), and the ESD shoe stays deliberately below that.

• Replaceable insole with heel cushioning and the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM. Under DGUV rule 112-191 the model is released for orthopaedic insole provision, the marking sits inside the shoe.

Where the open build gets in the way, for instance with swarf or liquids on the floor, the closed low shoe GX 245 is the better choice.
