A clog goes on and comes off without bending down, and that is exactly what makes it practical for laboratories, clean areas and changing zones. The CL 370 ESD still brings the tested steel toe cap, which absorbs at least 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345:2012. Its white CLEANLINE upper inhibits bacteria and odour, and the MPU Light sole stays ultra light.

What sets this model apart

• Charge dissipation first. The shoe is built as an ESD version and routes the wearer static charge through the sole to ground in a controlled way instead of letting it build up on the body. Inside an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1 that is the precondition for no component failing from a discharge on the walk from the bench to the machine. ATLAS lists the model explicitly as an ESD version to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
• SB in plain words. SB is the basic requirement of EN ISO 20345 and calls for the tested toe cap with 200 joules and 15 kN. Because the clog is open at the back, it cannot carry the additional requirements of classes S1 to S3 by design. ATLAS states the dissipative property for the ESD workplace separately.
• CLEANLINE upper for hygienically sensitive areas. The high-tech material is water-repellent, bacteria and odour inhibiting and still breathable. It is light and supple as well as tear-resistant, and the white version can be kept visibly clean.
• Steel toe cap with a 200 joule margin. The anatomically shaped steel cap protects the toe area against an impact of at least 200 joules and a compression load of at least 15 kN to EN ISO 20345:2012. 200 joules is roughly 20 kilograms dropped onto the forefoot from one metre.
• MPU Light sole technology. The sole is ultra light and still cushions noticeably. The ergonomic tread pattern provides grip and supports the natural rolling motion, while the tread layout and the sole edge add stability and hold.
• aktiv-X functional lining. The lining regulates moisture actively and makes the shoe dry quickly after the shift. It does not stain, is skin-friendly and abrasion-resistant, which matters where shoes are worn in rotation by several people.
• 3D cushioning system from two parts. A pressure-relieving insole and a light, responsive MPU sole work together. The result is a gentle roll-off that leaves noticeably less fatigue after eight hours of standing and walking than a hard standard sole.

Because the clog is open at the back, it does not belong on routes with a trip or nail hazard and not outdoors. For longer walking distances or warehouse work a closed model in class S1 to S3 is the right choice.
