When using chemically aggressive liquids (e.g. TICKOPUR J 80 U), removing chemically aggressive or abrasive contaminants or sonicating sample liquids, insert cups are used (indirect sonication). Because nothing may be placed on the bottom of the ultrasonic bath, BANDELIN offers suitable perforated lids/insert strips to hold the insert beakers. Further advantage: Several insert cups can be sonicated with different liquids at the same time (e.g. removal of dental cements with STAMMOPUR Z in one and cleaning with simultaneous chemical disinfection of dental instruments with STAMMOPUR DR 8 in a second insert cup).

Please note that the surface tension of the water must be reduced in order to transfer the ultrasound to the insert vessel and therefore a cleaning solution (e.g. TICKOPUR R 33 - 3%) must be used as a coupling liquid / contact liquid.
