Insert Beaker Glass 400 ml for Indirect Sonication - Bandelin Sonorex SD 04

The SD 04 glass insert beaker holds 400 ml and is used for indirect sonication in the ultrasonic bath. Aggressive, abrasive or sensitive sample liquids are sonicated inside the beaker without contacting the bath water. The beaker is suspended in perforated lids or insert strips using the GR 04 holding ring.

Applications

The insert beaker suits cleaning with aggressive concentrates, removing dental cements or sonicating sensitive samples. To transfer the ultrasound, a cleaning solution must be used in the bath as coupling fluid, for example a 3 percent solution, to lower the surface tension.

The SD 04 fits the perforated lid DE 08 and is suspended using the GR 04 holding ring.
