Foil Test Frame 220 x 410 mm for Cavitation Check - Bandelin Sonorex FT 6

The Sonorex FT 6 is a wire frame for clamping aluminium foil for the foil test (aluminium foil test) to IEC 886. It makes the intensity and distribution of cavitation in an ultrasonic cleaner easy to visualise, as the inserted foil is perforated by cavitation depending on the sonication time. The 220 x 410 mm clamping area is matched to corresponding tank dimensions.

Applications

The FT 6 is used for regular function checks of ultrasonic cleaners, especially in medical device reprocessing. At first commissioning and at set intervals an aluminium foil is clamped, sonicated and the resulting perforation archived as evidence.

The frame size is chosen according to the tank dimensions of the ultrasonic cleaner. At 220 x 410 mm the FT 6 covers a wide range of medium SONOREX tanks.
