Temperature Module with Ultrasound-Resistant Sensor 0 to 120 °C - Bandelin Sonopuls TM 100

The TM 100 temperature module uses an ultrasound-resistant sensor to measure the temperature directly in the sample over a range of 0 to 120 °C. When connected to the Sonopuls ultrasonic generator, the module is activated and a limit can be set for switching off the ultrasonic energy input. This reliably prevents unwanted, excessive heating of the sonicated sample.

Applications

The temperature module is used in the lab when sonicating heat-sensitive samples, for example in cell disruption, homogenizing or chemical reactions. The limit shut-off keeps the sample within a defined temperature window.
