Safety catch

• The safety catch in conjunction with the other components prevents a lifting door from falling if a cable breaks
• If a cable breaks, the revolving part of the safety catch jams against a counterbearing and is wedged in position in the guide profile
• Gap dimension between safety catch body and lateral guide profile: 6 mm
• One safety catch is required for each cable:
  – max. load per safety catch: 250 N
  – min. load per safety catch: 25 N
• The counterbearing (e.g. slider 3 842 530 303should be mounted under the safety catch and as close as possible to it
• It can also be mounted without a frame on surface elements which have adequate transverse rigidity
