Superform/R cutting machine for taped radial components, 12.7 mm pitch - Iteco 7915113A

Taped radial components arrive with overlong leads that have to be trimmed to a uniform length before assembly. The Superform/R pulls the tape through and cuts the leads in one pass, up to 20,000 components per hour. This version is the standard model for tapes with a 12.7 millimetre pitch.

Working features

• 12.7 mm tape pitch - set up for the common standard taping. For 15 mm tapes the sister version Superform/R/98 is available under part number 7915.113B.
• Up to 20,000 components per hour - the tape runs through without stopping, every component is cut as it passes.
• Lead diameter 0.4 to 1 mm - covers the usual range of capacitors, transistors and stand-off resistors.
• Body diameter up to 14 mm - larger electrolytic capacitors also pass the infeed.
• Hand crank or motor drive - as delivered the machine is hand cranked. With the MOT98 motor unit 7915.030 for 230 V or 7915.031 for 115 V and foot switch 600.023 it becomes a motorised workplace.
• BR6 reel holder can be fitted - arm 7915.185 carries the tape reel on the left so the tape unwinds evenly.

Applications

Preparing taped electrolytic and film capacitors, TO-92 transistors and stand-off resistors for board assembly, reworking tapes delivered with excessive lead length, and small batches or prototypes that need a uniform lead length.

Compatibility and scope of supply

Supplied as the machine for tapes with 12.7 mm pitch. Motor unit, foot switch and reel holder are optional accessories ordered separately. The TNS waste tape expeller 7915.080A is intended for the Superform models A, AP, V, S and R. Made in Italy.
