Description
When servicing copiers, printers or controls, the equipment is often unplugged and therefore no longer grounded. The 8501 Field Service Kit bonds technician, mat and equipment frame to a common potential, so no discharge occurs when assemblies are removed or installed. The dissipative mat at 1 x 106 to < 1 x 109 ohms is a safe place for PCBs.

Applications
