The GLE-1800-3.5 endoscope light guide from Starlight carries the output of an LED cold light source over 1800 mm to the point of entry. The 3.5 mm active diameter is matched to the light entry faces of technical endoscopes and delivers the available output without needless losses.
The fibre bundle is flexible and can be routed around assemblies without the illumination breaking down. Because the light is guided purely optically, the point of entry stays cold: no heat at the inspected part, no thermal drift during long inspections.
The endoscope end carries an M7 × 0.75 thread, the source end the Starlight standard mount. For endoscopes with a different thread, the matching adapter is available from the accessory range.
