Glamox S90-R spotlight (SPOT BL 25)

The Glamox S90-R in the SPOT BL 25 version is a recessed ceiling spotlight. It concentrates its light on a limited section while the housing stays behind the ceiling surface. Compared with wide-spreading recessed luminaires, the room stays calmer and the lit area stands out more clearly. The version shown here works with 3500 lm at 2700 K.

Two axes define the variant: light colour with 2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, all with Ra90, and luminous flux with 2000 lm or 3500 lm. Set the colour by the atmosphere you are after - 2700 K reads warmer than 4000 K - and the flux by the brightness that should arrive at the lit spot.

The recessed spotlight fits ceilings with a prepared opening and suits accents above counters, shelves or exhibits; for even background brightness, wide-area luminaires are the better answer.
