Remove through-hole components and fit new ones: the MX-500DS brings both tools. The MX-DS1 desoldering gun extracts solder using shop air, the MX-RM3E handpiece handles resoldering. SmartHeat cartridges regulate their own temperature, so no calibration is needed.
