What set 2 is built for

• Desoldering braid in 2.2 mm for single pads and 2.7 mm for headers and ground planes
• Bernstein desoldering pump for plated through holes and leaded components
• 80 W ceramic heater so the joint does not freeze while the solder is drawn off, range 100 to 450 °C in 1 °C steps
• Iron fitted with the 960-I needle tip at 0.2 mm for the fine pitch touch up after removal
• ESD build, tip to ground resistance below 2 ohm and tip potential below 2 mV
• Three stored setpoints and password lock keep the desoldering temperature identical across shifts
