Large packages need airflow, light components cannot take it. The Quick 861DW settles that conflict through its control: up to 60 L/min are available, set in 120 steps of 1 L/min each.

Applications

BGA and QFP rework, removal of large shielding cans and connectors, repair of mobile devices and power assemblies. For small parts on a cramped service table the 580 W station is the more economical answer.

Scope of delivery

861DW station with ELK805A hot air pencil, holder, grounding cable and four nozzles: 4.4 mm, 6.4 mm, 8.4 mm and a 16 mm mesh nozzle.

Compatibility

Further nozzle sizes are available separately. Combined with an infrared preheater the bench gains bottom heat, which lowers thermal shock on multilayer boards.
