Anyone running a Quick TV2+ regularly is protecting one component above all, the motor of the vacuum pump. The ceramic filter in the handpiece already holds back a large share of the residue, but whatever passes it heads straight for the pump unless a second stage is in place. That is where the external 201B line filter sits in the vacuum path.

What defines this filter

• Second filter stage behind the ceramic filter of the desoldering iron, so no carried over residue reaches the pump unhindered.
• Mounted outside the station housing, between iron and station, so it is changed without opening the unit.
• Orientation is fixed, the Connect to main unit marking faces the station while the opposite side takes the hose from the iron.
• Original Quick part carrying the model designation 201B, matched to the TV2+.
• Transparent filter body, so the loading state is visible without dismantling.

Use and maintenance

For electronics workshops, repair services and service departments with a TV2+ in continuous use. The filter cannot be cleaned, the body stays closed and is neither opened nor flushed. When replacement is due, the complete filter unit is removed and exchanged.

Scope of delivery and compatibility

One 201B line filter is supplied. Hoses, desoldering iron and station are not included. Not to be confused with the glass body filter in the filter tube of the iron, which belongs to the internal filter path.
