Insulators on a soldering bench cannot be grounded. Trays, blisters, films and foams pick up charge while being handled and pass it on to the assembly. The TED1 neutralises those charges with an ionised airflow and holds the residual voltage below +/-10 V at 30 cm.

• Effective working distance of 30 to 120 cm, so the unit sits beside the soldering station, above the component tray or at the test bench.
• Ion balance below +/-10 V at 30 cm to ANSI/ESD-S20.20-2014, measured in the near field.
• Output voltage of +/-2200 VDC and a maximum airflow of 4.6 m³, with steps 0 to 9 matching the volume to the workplace.
• Self cleaning, automatic ion balancing and an alarm function keep the balance inside its window in continuous operation.
• USB, RS485 and WLAN interfaces for integration into networked work areas.
• Compact at 19 x 24 x 9.5 cm and 1.1 kg, powered from a 230 V adapter.

Compatibility

Usable at any mains powered workplace regardless of equipment brand, intended for EPA areas to ANSI/ESD S20.20. Keep to the operating conditions of 0 to 50 °C and 40 to 60 % relative humidity, otherwise the balance drifts.
