A hot air handpiece pulls on its rest, because the hose keeps springing back. That is why the 922A rest weighs 0.81 kg, roughly twice a plain iron rest of the same family, and stays on its 190 x 120 mm footprint when the handpiece of the Quick 861DW is set down.
