Soldering a 13 mm tab with a 6 mm tip means two passes and a cold spot in the middle. The TSS10B-12P-01 covers the face in one go, 13 mm wide at 8.5 mm thickness in the 300 W class for the QUICK TS10.

What the geometry does

• Working width of 13 mm, the widest in the TSS10 range, brings broad contacts up to temperature in one approach with no repositioning.
• Cuboid section 8.5 mm thick keeps the mass behind the face holding temperature while the workpiece pulls heat away.
• 300 W rating of the TSS10 range for workpieces with a very high heat demand.
• Tip and heater form one direct unit, on the TS10 about 3 seconds to 300 degrees Celsius are reached on a 1.6 mm tip.
• Thermocouple in the tip starts the recovery without delay under the continuous heat draw of large workpieces.
• Cartridge chip with the individual calibration value keeps the station temperature reading dependable even at this tip size.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility

Intended for production, workshop, service, maintenance and rework on sheet metal, terminal tabs, lugs, connectors, heavy cable joints and large copper areas, and for tinning extended surfaces in assembly and power electronics. Where access is limited, the narrower 11 mm cuboid fits better, and fine electronics work is covered by the chisel and needle shapes in the range.
