An ESD top that is dissipative only at the surface loses its effect as soon as the laminate wears through. On this top the core itself is conductive, so protection works through the whole structure and survives years of shift work.
The resin and particle board build carries load even at maximum. The edges are finished with ABS and are therefore impact and scratch resistant. The conductive core also makes the top moisture resistant. It fixes to the Reeco frame with threaded inserts or wood screws.
