Crowring spanner inch No. 440a 9/16" AF 1/4 inch drive L 31.7 mm - Stahlwille 01490034

For inch fasteners in hard-to-reach places, the Crowring spanner No. 440a combines a closed ring head with 9/16" across flats and an offset 1/4 inch female drive square. This lets you tighten the nut with a ratchet, extension or torque wrench where a socket does not fit. Length 31.7 mm, weight 23 g.

Benefits

• Bi-hex with AS-Drive profile: the ring fully encloses the nut and grips on the flats
• Chrome Alloy Steel, chrome-plated, for lasting corrosion protection
• 1/4 inch female drive square for ratchets, extensions and torque wrenches with 1/4 inch drive
• Compact dimensions: length 31.7 mm, width 22.2 mm, weight 23 g

Applications

Assembly and maintenance on inch fasteners with little clearance. The manufacturer lists the 440a series for use on the Volvo aircraft engine type JAS. Combined with a torque wrench for joints with a specified tightening torque.
