Walking Test EVO body voltage measuring system with probe and case - Iteco 9265080

As ESD coordinator you have to prove that footwear and flooring keep personnel charging under control inside the EPA. The Walking Test EVO measures that body voltage directly while the operator walks, over a range of ±1050 V with 1 V resolution, and logs every run in its internal memory without a PC at the test site.

Benefits

• A range of ±1050 V at 1 V resolution and 5 % accuracy is sufficient to assess footwear and flooring combinations to IEC 61340-4-5.
• Up to 10 graphs in the internal memory, 200 Hz sample rate and a maximum total recording time of 2 minutes 30 seconds per run.
• For every measurement the instrument reports the five highest peaks P1 to P5 and the five lowest valleys T1 to T5 together with their arithmetic means.
• Humidity from 1 to 95 % RH and temperature from -20 to +60 °C are logged with the date and time of each test, so results stay traceable.
• An input resistance of 10^14 Ω keeps the load on the measuring point low, and a single cable to a fixed ground reference is all that is needed.
• The supplied WT Manager software transfers the recordings over USB to Windows machines from XP up to 11.

Applications

Release testing of new ESD footwear and flooring, periodic retesting of installed floors, preparation of ESD audits and fault finding when assembly stations show unexplained component failures.

Scope of delivery and compatibility

Delivery includes the instrument, the Ø 35 x 130 mm probe, batteries, carry case, WT Manager software and an ISO 9000 traceable calibration report. Periodic recalibration is ordered under Iteco 9265.082.

The test method follows IEC 61340-4-5 and forms part of the ESD control programme to IEC 61340-5-1. Made in Italy.
