Soldering tip conical 1.0 x 16.7 mm STTC series 412 °C - Metcal STTC-107

For joints that need more heat than a micro tip can deliver: the STTC-107 conical tip combines a 1 mm tip diameter with a 16.7 mm length and works at a fixed 412 °C on Metcal STTC series systems.

Applications

Suitable for stranded and single wires, pin and socket headers, through-hole parts with larger pads and for wiring work in cabinets and deep enclosures.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The cartridge fits the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and therefore the Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 systems. Delivery includes one soldering tip cartridge with integrated heater, order unit piece.

The closed, electrically conductive cartridge design and the grounded tip support soldering on ESD sensitive assemblies inside an EPA according to IEC 61340-5-1.
