The F7 mat is the finer of the two prefilter stages in series 400 extraction units and captures the fine dust that passes the M5 mat. Sitting directly ahead of the particulate filter, it noticeably extends its service life. It is changed without tools in the filter shaft of LAS 400, LRA 400 and ASD 400.

Without an F7 mat there is no intermediate stage between the coarse mat and the particulate filter, and the main filter clogs distinctly faster. The F7 filter mat 02.0.031 closes that gap in ULT series 400 units.
