F7 filter mat, fine prefilter for LRA 400.1 - ULT 02.0.031

The HA14 filter build of the LRA 400.1 solder fume extractor runs two filter mats in sequence. The F7 mat is the finer of the two. It takes up what passes the M5 mat and keeps the H13 particle filter clear for longer.

Technical data

Applications

Hand soldering, robot soldering and automated soldering lines, including special workstations. Solder fume is a mixture of sticky aerosols, particles and gases. The mat stage binds most of the particles and the aerosols still left in the raw gas before the air reaches the H13 filter and the adsorption filter. Lead free soldering with aggressive fluxes shortens the change intervals.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Prefilter mat for the HA14 filter build of the LRA 400.1 solder fume extractor. Delivered as one F7 filter mat. The ULT 400.1 technical documentation lists the two mats together: as the M5 and F7 set under 4-00219, as a pack of ten under 4-00220 and as a change frame holding both mats under 4-00867. Ahead of the mat package sits the washable expanded metal prefilter 4-00875.
