At an ESD workstation the extraction hardware must not hold charge itself. The Alsident 1-5020-6 is a 200 mm wide conductive extraction slot for DN50 arms that stands behind the solder joint and pulls fume horizontally out of the breathing zone.

Applications
Typical locations are hand soldering and rework benches in electronics manufacturing, test and repair stations and bonding or dispensing work inside an EPA. It captures solder fume and light gases directly at source.
Compatibility and scope of delivery
The slot pushes onto Alsident extraction arms with a 50 mm tube diameter. Delivery covers the extraction slot in black without arm and without fan.
The conductive version supports workstations operated to IEC 61340-5-1.
