ESD round hood DN50 diameter 385 mm conductive black - Alsident 1-5035-6

A large plastic hood sitting directly above populated boards can charge up and put sensitive components at risk. The Alsident ESD round hood 1-5035-6 with Ø385 mm is therefore built entirely from conductive polypropylene and bonded to the duct system through a chromated TCP aluminium socket.

Extraction of solder fume and light gases at ESD protected workstations in electronics manufacturing and repair, above bonding and potting benches and over small open vessels in the laboratory.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Fits all Alsident System 50 extraction arms with 50 mm tube diameter and matches the black ESD system variant in colour and conductivity. Supplied as one ESD round hood 1-5035-6.

The dissipative construction supports operation inside an EPA according to IEC 61340-5-1, provided the complete extraction system is bonded and earthed accordingly.
