Above an area heat source the fume spreads out and escapes a narrow nozzle. The Alsident 1-5024-5 is a white 200 mm round hood for DN50 arms that sits over the source and takes up the rising air stream.

Applications

Typical uses are soldering and rework benches with higher fume volumes, laboratory and analytical stations, small drying or curing ovens and test rigs with warm exhaust air. The hood is not designed for heavy dust or chips.

The hood pushes onto Alsident extraction arms with a 50 mm tube diameter. Delivery covers one round hood in white without arm and without extraction unit.
