The Weller PT F7 is a tungsten-carbide PT soldering tip in a round bevelled shape, 1.2 mm wide, set to the fixed Magnastat operating temperature of 370 °C. The temperature is held by the iron's Magnastat sensor without any electronic control, giving repeatable joints on PCBs and components.
